Abstract

El tema de estudio memoria, entendida como la vida en evolución permanente, abierta al recuerdo y a la amnesia y vulnerable a las manipulaciones, presenta un problema de ser borrada por parte del revisionismo histórico de ideologías, acrecentando la impunidad de los hechos violentos que marcaron a quienes los vivieron dentro de la historia del país. Por otro lado, la inserción del metro elevado que origino el desplazamiento del monumento a los héroes hacia un nuevo punto estratégico entre la calle 72 y avenida caracas presenta un segundo problema de carácter urbano con inconvenientes en la contemplación del monumento. Se aprovechará esta nueva ubicación del monumento para una intervención de diseño urbano-arquitectónico de un centro de memoria para la violencia cuyo desarrollo se basa metodológicamente en estrategias teóricas y proyectuales que posibiliten la representación y difusión de la memoria desde distintas funciones y a su vez la recomposición del entorno que enaltezca el valor del monumento a los Héroes en el sector. El trabajo permite identificar las estrategias arquitectónicas y urbanas en la proyección de un conjunto de carácter monumental para la ciudad de Bogotá por medio de la compresión del concepto de memoria y sus representaciones.

The subject of memory study, understood as life in permanent evolution, open to memory and amnesia and vulnerable to manipulations, presents a problem of being erased by the historical revisionism of ideologies, increasing impunity for the violent events that marked the who lived them within the history of the country. On the other hand, the insertion of the elevated subway that caused the movement of the monument to the heroes to a new strategic point between Calle 72 and Avenida Caracas presents a second problem of an urban nature with drawbacks in the contemplation of the monument. This new location of the monument will be used for an intervention of urbanarchitectural design of a memory center for violence whose development is methodologically based on theoretical and project strategies that enable the representation and dissemination of memory from different functions and in turn the recomposition of the environment that exalts the value of the monument to the Heroes in the sector. The work makes it possible to identify architectural and urban strategies in the projection of a monumental complex for the city of Bogotá through the understanding of the concept of memory and its representations.
