Resiliencia patrimonial restauración de la capilla y el convento del complejo hospitalario San Juan de Dios

Abstract

Este proyecto de grado nace a partir de una investigación histórica patrimonial del Complejo Hospitalario San Juan de Dios (CHSJD), puntualmente de la Capilla y el Convento, el cual a través del tiempo ha presentado un detrimento arquitectónico, abandono y regular estado de conservación. Por lo tanto, se busca restaurar y rehabilitar arquitectónicamente estos inmuebles, para conservar la historia e identidad cultural patrimonial, generando así la conservación de bienes de interés patrimonial, mitigando el detrimento que se ha presentado a lo largo de los últimos años. Para resolver el objetivo del proyecto, primero es necesario investigar la historia del CHSJD, entender la importancia y exaltación de esta, para este fin se analizan e indagan estrategias teóricas existentes para la conservación, restauración y adecuación funcional; se realiza un análisis y diagnóstico mediante el estudio de 2 documentos: las fichas de valoración patrimonial de los inmuebles y el decreto 763 de 2009. Posteriormente se establece seguir los parámetros designados por el Plan especial de manejo y protección (PEMP), para articular el inmueble con el CHSJD, a través del análisis y estudio de las fases planteadas en este. Aportando al PEMP una propuesta de restauración arquitectónica y urbana de dos inmuebles patrimoniales que son la Capilla y el Convento, pertenecientes al Núcleo Fundacional, logrando recuperar la esencia de su arquitectura.

This degree project is born from a historical heritage research of the San Juan de Dios Hospital Complex (CHSJD), specifically of the Chapel and the Convent, which through time has presented an architectural detriment, abandonment and regular state of conservation. Therefore, it is sought to restore and rehabilitate these buildings architecturally, to preserve the history and cultural identity heritage, thus generating the conservation of assets of heritage interest, mitigating the damage that has occurred over recent years. In order to solve the objective of the project, first it is necessary to investigate the history of the CHSJD, to understand the importance and exaltation of this one, for this end theoretical existing strategies for the conservation, restoration and functional adjustment are analyzed and investigated; an analysis and diagnosis by means of the study of 2 documents is made: the cards of patrimonial valuation of the buildings and the decree 763 of 2009. Subsequently, it is established to follow the parameters designated by the Special Management and Protection Plan (PEMP), to articulate the building with the CHSJD, through the analysis and study of the phases proposed in this plan. Providing the PEMP a proposal for architectural and urban restoration of two heritage buildings that are the Chapel and the Convent, belonging to the Foundation, achieving the recovery of the essence of its architecture.
