Resignificación de arquitectura en abandono dentro de contextos patrimoniales

Abstract

A partir del reciclaje de edificios que por diferentes factores de encuentran en abandono, la arquitectura a conseguido abrir un escenario para la transformación de la imagen de la ciudad y el redesarrollo de sectores que podrían encontrarse en desuso o en conflicto con el contexto debido a su uso original. Generalmente utilizado en sectores industriales este movimiento a significado un aporte por parte de la disciplina al avance de la ciudad y mas importante aun al impacto que se genera en la naturaleza por la construcción de nuevas edificaciones. Pues recuperar estructuras o la mayor parte de un edificio en desuso. No solo implica ahorro en la inversión sino el aporte por parte del proyecto a disminuir la huella generada por extracción y utilización de materiales de construcción. Este proyecto pretende usar estos elementos a su favor y resignificar una construcción que por su ubicación e historia se debería convertir en un referente de la ciudad.
