Villa Acuática : la resignificación de un no lugar

Abstract

Documento seminario de proyecto de grado, donde se especifica conceptos de diseño. Este hito de la ciudad fue un espacio de encuentro deportivo y cultural que fomentó la identidad de los habitantes durante muchos años, impulsando el desarrollo y crecimiento del sector estratégico donde se encuentra. Sin embargo, la localización de este emplazamiento, fué un arma de doble filo, ya que como resultado, luego del abandono, se generó un gran deterioro en todo el sector, un déficit de equipamientos deportivos, espacio público y de recreación y un aumento en la inseguridad. Este proyecto, se aborda como un reto de diseño paramétrico que resignifica un no-lugar, aportando a la ciudad de Ibagué un nuevo momento en el deporte olímpico, un espacio que busca suplir las necesidades deportivas de los usuarios y del habitante ibaguereño, revitalizando por medio de la exaltación del patrimonio inmaterial, cultural y natural, puntualizando en un espacio público, abierto e incluyente que fomente la movilidad intermodal en la ciudad. A partir de un recorrido perceptual con estímulos que orientan y permiten decidir al usuario, se pretende abordar desde un espacio público elevado o un espacio de refugio al deportista, todo esto a partir de una serie de estrategias de diseño

The architectural project La Villa Acuática, is produced by the abandonment of the Sports Unit on Calle 42, after an attempt to remodel it in 2013 that ends in a moment thanks to the corruption of the current government in the city of Ibagué. This milestone of the city was a space of sport and cultural encounter that fomented the identity of the inhabitants during many years, impelling the development and the growth of the strategic sector where it is. However, the location of this site, was a double-edged sword, as a result, of the abandoned state, a large role is generated throughout the sector, a deficit of sports equipment, public space and recreation and an increase in insecurity. This project is approached as a challenge of parametric design that is renewed in one place, giving to the city of Ibagué a new moment in Olympic sport, a space that seeks the needs of the users and the habitants of the province, revitalized by the exaltation of intangible, cultural and natural heritage, specifying in a public, open and inclusive space that encourages intermodal mobility in the city. From a perceptual route with a stimulus that allows us to guide the user, by a public high space with a series of design strategies that promotes the resignification of enclosure and temple of unforgettable memories. The architectural project deals with the conception of a space in the place with pre-existence, understanding the history and the identity that generates the moments on it. Therefore, this proposal is solved through the conservation of existence and revitalization that will be the focal point of the sport for Tolima.
