Arquitectura vernácula del paisaje, centro cultural en Timbiquí : diversidad y sincretismo

Abstract

El presente trabajo expone el diseño arquitectónico de un centro cultural en el municipio de Timbiquí, ubicado en el departamento del Cauca, en la Costa Pacífica, al sur Occidente de Colombia. Este proyecto está enmarcado en el ámbito arquitectónico, con enfoque en Arquitectura del Paisaje y énfasis en paisaje, lugar y territorio.

En consideración a que, Timbiquí no cuenta con los espacios adecuados para promover la identidad cultural y étnica, propias de las comunidades Afrocolombiana e Indígena Emberá, esta investigación aporta al conocimiento de la arquitectura del paisaje cultural porque plantea un espacio que, desde la arquitectura vernácula del paisaje, favorece el desarrollo de las diferentes culturas, y promueve la diversidad y el sincretismo, a partir del estudio de las diferentes expresiones étnicas de las comunidades asentadas en este municipio del pacifico colombiano.

Este proyecto responde al objetivo general de proyectar arquitectura vernácula del paisaje que valorare la diversidad y el sincretismo cultural en Timbiquí. Por consiguiente, responde la pregunta, ¿Cómo generar arquitectura vernácula del paisaje para valorar y resignificar la diversidad y el sincretismo cultural en Timbiquí?, a partir de la metodología de diseño participativo con la comunidad de Timbiquí, utilizando como resultado la arquitectura vernácula del paisaje para la construcción de espacios que favorezcan el desarrollo cultural y social de las etnias de la región.

Esto a través de los espacios como el bohío del jardín infantil que permitirá acoplar a la población más joven; el tambo o comedor social, el cual permitirá la congregación de la población necesitada y demás usuarios del proyecto, el invernadero o jardín botánico productivo, el cual será el centro de investigación y aprendizaje sobre la agricultura y sus técnicas ancestrales; el bohío artesanal en el cual la población podrá desarrollar elementos que les ayudan en sus actividades diarias (socio culturales y económicos); el tambo de música y danza permitirá a la población practicar estas expresiones culturales en espacios mas amplios y adecuados; por último se encuentra el auditorio cultural el cual permitirá la exposición de todas las actividades que se desarrollan dentro del proyecto arquitectónico, esto a fin de favorecer el sincretismo y la diversidad de esta población del pacifico colombiano.

The present work exposes the architectural design of a cultural center in the municipality of Timbiquí, located in the department of Cauca, on the Pacific Coast, in the south west of Colombia. This project is framed in the architectural field, with a focus on Landscape Architecture and emphasis on landscape, place and territory Considering that Timbiquí does not have adequate spaces to promote cultural and ethnic identity, typical of the Afro-Colombian and Native Emberá communities, this research contributes to the knowledge of the architecture of the cultural landscape because it poses a space that from the vernacular architecture of the landscape, favors the development of different cultures, and promotes diversity and syncretism, based on the study of the different ethnic expressions of the communities settled in this municipality of the Colombian Pacific. This project responds to the general objective of projecting vernacular landscape architecture that will value diversity and cultural syncretism in Timbiquí. Therefore, answer the question, How to generate landscape vernacular architecture to assess and signify diversity and cultural syncretism in Timbiquí ?, from the participatory design methodology with the Timbiquí community, using as a result landscape vernacular architecture for the construction of spaces that favor the cultural and social development of the ethnic groups of the region This through spaces such as the bohío of the kindergarten that allows the younger population to be coupled; the tambo or social dining room, which will allow the congregation of the needy population and other users of the project, the greenhouse or productive botanical garden, which will be the center of research and learning about agriculture and its ancestral techniques; the artisanal hut in which the population can develop elements that help them in their daily activities (socio-cultural and economic); the tambo of music and dance adapted to the population practice these cultural expressions in wider and smaller spaces; Finally, there is the cultural auditorium which allows the exhibition of all the activities that are within the architectural project, this in order to favor the syncretism and diversity of this population of the Colombian Pacific.
