Arquitectura del paisaje en el proyecto arquitectónico de la ampliación del Teatro Colón

Abstract

El proyecto de ampliación surge de un concurso realizado por el Ministerio de Cultura y la S.C.A. en 2.013, con el fin de recuperar el Teatro Colón de Bogotá partiendo de tres etapas: Restauración, Modernización y Ampliación, para dotar al teatro con las áreas propias de un “teatro de producción”.El planteamiento está enfocado en el desarrollo del equipamiento cultural, retomando aspectos que del concurso no se tuvieron en cuenta (lo patrimonial) Para ello se usan algunos criterios de valoración ambiental planteados en la tesis “Vitalidad, habitabilidad y confort” (2.016, Perea, S.) la cual da pautas para el desarrollo de la implantación de un elemento arquitectónico contemporáneo en un contexto patrimonial bajo los conceptos de arquitectura del paisaje, logrando una propuesta coherente al lugar, con mejor y mayor empalme entre la obra nueva con lo pre existente, cuidando de manera especial, la relación peatón-edificio y configurando el paisaje urbano

The project of the expansion of the Colón Theater arises from a contest held by the Ministry of Culture and the Colombian Society of Architects in 2013, which suggests three stages: the first of restoration of the BIC building, the second of modernization consisting of the new structure of the stage, and a third that consists of the expansion where the theater will be equipped with areas of a "production theater". In 2014 the winners, López Montoya architects, met and the project is currently under construction. What we want to achieve is to develop the same project of the expansion, under the same conditions of the contest, but managing to improve several aspects that in the winning project were not considered, focusing on the implantation of a new building in a net patrimonial context under the concepts of landscaping and taking special care with the pedestrian-building relationship, also improving the conditions of public space in the sector, which is one of the most evident problems.
