Abstract

“Resonancias de lo Invisible: Paisaje urbano y memoria transformada” se plantea desde la reflexión crítica sobre la transformación antrópica del paisaje urbano y su incidencia en la arquitectura olvidada. La propuesta cuestiona la tendencia histórica que ha privilegiado la supremacía de la edificación sobre Resumen la arquitectura y no a la inversa. el paisaje, lo urbano y lo público, relegando estos últimos a un rol secundario. Frente a esta visión hegemónica, el proyecto busca invertir la lógica: que sea el paisaje con sus huellas, memorias y dinámicas sociales el que influya en Una de las problemáticas centrales que sustenta este enfoque es el olvido arquitectónico. En las ciudades contemporáneas, múltiples edificaciones que alguna vez fueron hitos de identidad, habitadas y con significado, hoy permanecen en estado de abandono, deterioro o vandalización. Este vacío no solo erosiona la memoria colectiva, sino que refuerza lógicas de sustitución y demolición que anulan el potencial de transformación de estas preexistencias. Desde esta perspectiva, el proyecto propone abordar tales fragmentos urbanos como espacios resonantes, capaces de dialogar entre pasado y presente, entre lo visible y lo invisible. No se trata de borrar huellas ni imponer nuevas formas, sino de reinterpretar y transformar lo existente bajo un enfoque ecológico, cultural y sostenible. Así, la revitalización arquitectónica se entiende no como un ejercicio de reemplazo, sino como un proceso de resignificación y convergencia, en donde la memoria se transforma y el paisaje urbano se re configura a través de lo humano y lo colectivo

“Resonances of the Invisible: Transformed Urban Landscape and Memory” arises from a critical reflection on the anthropic transformation of the urban landscape and its impact on forgotten architecture. The proposal questions the historical tendency that has privileged the supremacy of buildings over the landscape, the urban, and the public realm, relegating the latter to a secondary role. Against this hegemonic vision, the project seeks to invert the logic: it is the landscape with its traces, memories, and social dynamics that should influence architecture, rather than the opposite. One of the central issues underpinning this approach is architectural oblivion. In contemporary cities, numerous buildings that once served as identity landmarks, inhabited and meaningful, now remain abandoned, deteriorated, or vandalized. This void not only erodes collective memory but also reinforces dynamics of substitution and demolition that negate the potential of transformation within these preexisting structures.. From this perspective, the project proposes to address such urban fragments as resonant spaces, capable of establishing a dialogue between past and present, between the visible and the invisible. The aim is not to erase traces or impose new forms, but to reinterpret and transform what already exists under an ecological, cultural, and sustainable approach. In this way, architectural revitalization is understood not as an exercise in replacement, but as a process of resignification and convergence, where memory is transformed, and the urban landscape is reconfigured through human and collective agency.
