El límite habitable como espacio intermedio entre lo urbano y el ecosistema

Abstract

Este trabajo de grado se centró en el diseño de un centro de investigación ecosistémico ubicado en la isla de San Andrés, Colombia, el cual desarrolla un límite habitable como espacio intermedio entre la urbe y el ecosistema, la metodología efectuada para su desarrollo consta de cinco fases, las cuales permiten determinar un territorio a intervenir, identificar estrategias de diseño que permitan establecer un espacio intermedio, donde exista una interacción entre la urbe y los ecosistemas. y materializan, un proyecto integral a nivel arquitectónico, urbano, y técnico. Este trabajo evidencio como, por medio de la arquitectura, se integran una variedad de espacios intermedios que albergan diferentes funciones y actividades, que posibilitan el desarrollo de un límite habitable, el cual tiene la capacidad de regular y controlar las interacciones entre el hombre y el ambiente.

This degree work focused on the design of an ecosystemic research center located on the island of San Andres, Colombia, which develops a habitable limit as an intermediate space between the city and the ecosystem, the methodology carried out for its development consists of five phases, which allow determining a territory to intervene, identify design strategies that allow establishing an intermediate space, where there is an interaction between the city and the ecosystems, and materialize an integral project at an architectural, urban and technical level. This work shows how, through architecture, a variety of intermediate spaces that house different functions and activities are integrated, enabling the development of a habitable limit, which has the capacity to regulate and control the interactions between man and the environment.
