Parque Museo Cementerio Central de Bogotá

Abstract

El Cementerio Central de Bogotá es generador actualmente de un impacto negativo en la dinámica urbana del sector que lo conforma, debido a la falta de administración y deterioro que presenta internamente y en sus alrededores debido al mal uso y falta de infraestructura adecuada para las actividades comerciales y culturales que allí se desarrollan. A partir del mejoramiento de la infraestructura del Cementerio en el Globo B y la implementación de nuevos espacios para el desarrollo de las actividades económicas, culturales y artísticas, se propone el diseño del Parque Museo Cementerio Central de Bogotá , como un equipamiento cultural que integre las actividades económicas que se desarrollan actualmente como valor social y cultural del lugar que han ayudado a construir la memoria del mismo y de la ciudad. La propuesta es el resultado de abordar diferentes dimensiones que permitieron indagar sobre la necesidad de establecer los condicionantes de diseño, se parte de 5 ejes temáticos: Urbano, ambiental, socio cultural, económico y filosófico los cuales se evidencian en la postura de generar conexiones urbanas a partir de la caracterización del lugar, dimensiones decisivas para el desarrollo de la propuesta urbana y arquitectónica, reconociendo la importancia del Cementerio como un espacio Urbano de representatividad que integre las diversas actividades que se allí se desarrollan para la renovación de la dinámica del sector y su conexión con la ciudad. La implantación de nuevos usos y organización de los existentes por medio de las soluciones espaciales proyectadas en el Globo B, permitirán que el área denominada Cementerio Central adquiera una integración del conjunto (Cementerio Histórico- Parque Museo- Parque Renacimiento), generando un área cultural, recreativa y económica dentro del Centro Tradicional de la ciudad y conectando con la red de equipamientos urbanos.

The Central Cemetery of Bogotá is currently generating a negative impact on the urban dynamics of the sector that makes it up, due to the lack of administration and deterioration it presents internally and, in its surroundings, due to misuse and lack of adequate infrastructure for commercial and cultural activities that take place there. Based on the improvement of the infrastructure of the Cemetery in Globe B and the implementation of new spaces for the development of economic, cultural and artistic activities, we propose the design of the Central Cementerio Museum Park of Bogotá, as a cultural facility that integrates the economic activities that are currently being developed as a social and cultural value of the place that have helped to build the memory of the place and the city. The design proposal is the result of tackling different dimensions that allowed us to investigate the need to establish the design conditioning factors, starting from 5 thematic axes: Urban, environmental, socio-cultural, economic and philosophical which are evident in the position of generating urban connections from the characterization of the place, decisive dimensions for the development of the urban and architectural proposal, recognizing the importance of the Cemetery as an Urban space of representativeness that integrates the diverse activities that are developed there for the renewal of the dynamics of the sector and its connection with the city. The implantation of new uses and organization of the existing ones by means of the spatial solutions projected in Globe B, will allow the area called Central Cemetery to acquire an integration of the whole (Historical Cemetery - Museum Park - Renaissance Park), generating a cultural, recreational and economic area inside the Traditional Center of the city and connecting with the network of urban equipment’s.
