Influencia de la gestión de las entidades gubernamentales para enfrentar el fenómeno del suicidio

Abstract

El documento que se presenta a continuación es el resultado del interés que surgió por conocer más afondo y desde una perspectiva social, la forma como en el transcurso de la última década el Estado y los entes gubernamentales han intentado disminuir los altos índices de suicidio por medio de diferentes gestiones, enfocadas en la atención y la prevención. Para esto, se realiza un recorrido socio histórico para poder conocer como se ha trasformado la percepción del suicidio en el transcurso de la historia, para más adelante con la ayuda de unas categorías de análisis, contrastar la conceptualización de un caso ocurrido en la ciudad de Bogotá, con el fin de detectar posibles falencias a la luz de las Políticas Públicas que existen al respecto; para terminar la investigación propone a futuros investigadores, algunas herramientas para plantear nuevas investigaciones con respecto a esta temática.

The following dissertation is presented with the intention of showing a series of results, product of the personal interest of the author. It is the intention of showing in this investigation, through a social perspective, the methods and forms in which the state and governmental entities have been trying to set control with the help of public politics, which are focused in the attention and prevention, the high suicides rates presented in the last decade. Having this in mind, it was necessary to build up an historical review with the purpose of analysing the change of human perception of the problem. With this and with the help of a set of analysis tools, it was possible to set a conceptual contrast of a real case, in order to identify the possible flaws of the public politics currently implemented. The investigation concludes giving set a number of helpful tools, for future researchers with interest in the topic.
