The knowledge and management of population growth as statistical controls are of great
importance for the operation of a country, department, municipality or how it is applied in this case
of a UPZ or locality, since it allows knowing the number of its users or citizens who must comply
some duties and enjoy rights as citizens and people of the common good. Therefore, it was proposed
to carry out a population density analysis in order to know the living conditions of the citizens and to
be able to establish if the basic needs of the users are being met.
The right to access to drinking water and basic sanitation is fundamental for every human
being, and access to drinking water and domestic waste disposal are part of household public
services, respecting and carrying out SDG 6: Drinking water and sanitation, which seeks to
guarantee the availability of water and its sustainable management and sanitation for all, in addition
to being friendly to the environment, generating sustainable development.
As a computational tool to carry out this research, the statistical software R was chosen, in
order to implement and make use of the R programming language in a more user-friendly interface
such as Rstudio. In addition to making use of programming basic in Microsoft programs like Excel.
An ascending population density was obtained as a result, therefore, it determines that the
conditions of citizens are against a dignified life due to the population increase and the lack of water
supply, it suffers from various problems where there is no funding whatsoever due to the high level
of poverty found in the UPZ, its terrain and slope conditions, without justifying the State for
abandoning these areas in precarious conditions.
