Comparativo de diseño de puentes de viga-losa en concreto y estructura de acero

Abstract

Este proyecto se presenta con la finalidad de realizar una comparativa entre dos tipos de diseño de puentes que tienen los siguientes parámetros en común: distancia entre apoyos, dimensiones generales , cargas muertas diferentes a las correspondientes al peso propio de los elementos estructurales y cargas debidas al tráfico; con el objetivo de mostrar una alternativa de diseño que difiera de las convencionales y que por lo tanto se convierta en una opción a tener en cuenta en puentes de luces cortas. Los diseños aquí planteados utilizan los códigos de diseño colombianos pertinentes, así como recomendaciones realizadas en la literatura para las tipologías comparadas.

The objective of this document is to present a comparison between two types of superstructure bridge design types with the following common features: span length, general dimensions, dead loads other than the self-weight of the structural elements and loads due to traffic; with the aim of showing a design alternative that differs from the conventional solutions, and therefore becomes an valid option to consider for short span bridges. The designs presented herein were based on the current Colombian bridge specifications as well as the recommendations found in the literature regarding the superstructure types considered.
