Integración urbana y reciclaje del Molino Tundama, en el municipio de Duitama, Boyacá

Abstract

El presente documento, parte con la línea de investigación de proyecto arquitectónico con un enfoque, en equipamiento de interés cultural histórico patrimonial siendo el Molino Tundama, con énfasis de proyecto, teoría, métodos y prácticas. El municipio de Duitama Boyacá, ha tenido transformaciones a lo largo de sus años, su industria ha tenido evoluciones en lo que convierte al municipio en un corredor industrial. El sector del Molino Tundama ubicado en el municipio de Duitama, presenta una desarticulación con el tejido urbano, lo que permite intervenir la edificación que se encuentra en un estado de deterioro. Por ende, se accede a reciclar la edificación del Molino Tundama, en donde se integrará a la trama urbana mediante una operación de espacio público que articulará la plaza principal Los Libertadores. Para el desarrollar la idea inicial del proyecto, se parte con un análisis multiescalar en el que se identifica las necesidades del lugar, de tal forma que se proponen unas estrategias que van dirigidas al proyecto, sustentadas en un marco teórico el cual direccionaran las operaciones arquitectónicas y urbanas que se implantaran en el lugar. La escala urbana se relaciona con el elemento arquitectónico y su entorno, permitiendo la conectividad urbana y del tejido, integrando y resaltando el paisaje.

This document starts with the architectural project research line with a focus on equipment of cultural heritage and historical interest, being the Tundama Mill, with an emphasis on project, theory, methods and practices.. The municipality of Duitama Boyacá, has undergone transformations throughout its years, its industry has had evolutions in what turns the municipality into an industrial corridor. The Tundama Mill sector located in the municipality of Duitama, presents a disarticulation with the urban fabric, which allows intervention in the building that is in a state of deterioration. Therefore, it is agreed to recycle the building of the Tundama Mill, where it will be integrated into the urban fabric through a public space operation that will articulate the main "Los Libertadores" square. To develop the initial idea of the project, it starts with a multiscale analysis in which the needs of the place are identified, in such a way that strategies are proposed that are directed to the project, supported by a theoretical framework which will direct the architectural operations and urban to be implanted in the place. The urban scale is related to the architectural element and its environment, allowing urban and fabric connectivity, integrating and highlighting the landscape.
