Conservación del territorio a través del centro de interpretación del paisaje natural; Páramo Chingaza

Abstract

El paisaje natural páramo Chingaza es un territorio natural con una gran importancia, debido a la presencia de inigualables recursos naturales y biodiversidad en Colombia, enmarcado en un contexto que actualmente no garantiza su preservación, debido a factores como la intervención negativa del hombre en el ecosistema. Es por esto por lo que se propone una estrategia para garantizar la preservación y conservación del territorio a través de un centro de interpretación; estos se caracterizan por ser elementos arquitectónicos que permiten establecer una relación profunda entre el paisaje y el ser humano al transformar la manera de percibir el entorno y plasmar su importancia en todos los sentidos. Es evidente que la realización de una intervención en un área natural protegida es un desafío, sin embargo, el valor proyectual radica en la elección de materiales y procesos que, llevados a cabo, no afecten de manera negativa el ecosistema, incluyendo otros métodos que involucren el ser humano con el paisaje de manera perceptual, todo esto con el fin de promover la educación ambiental, la divulgación y la conservación a manera de experiencia.

The natural landscape of Chingaza moor is a natural territory of great importance, due to the presence of unparalleled natural resources and biodiversity in Colombia, framed in a context that currently doesn´t guarantee its preservation, due to factors such as negative human intervention in the ecosystem. This is why a strategy is proposed to guarantee the preservation and conservation of the territory through an interpretation center; these are characterized by being architectural elements that allow the establishment of a deep relationship between the landscape and the human being by transforming the way of perceiving the environment and expressing its importance in all senses. It´s clear that the realization of an intervention in a natural protected area is a challenge, however the project value lies in the choice of materials and processes that carried out, don´t affect the ecosystem in a negative way, including other methods that involve the human being with the landscape in a perceptual way, all this with the purpose of promoting environmental education, dissemination and conservation as an experience.
