Equipamiento deportivo como elemento articulador del vacío urbano en áreas fragmentadas

Abstract

El actual proyecto de grado busca generar una alternativa a la desarticulación que generan los vacíos urbanos en áreas fragmentadas mediante la implementación de un elemento arquitectónico de carácter deportivo del cual carece el área de estudio del proyecto. Los equipamientos deportivos poseen la característica de fragmentar el territorio por el impacto que generan como masa dado las actividades que en su interior se desarrollan, de esta manera al brindar una posible solución a estos dos escenarios que poseen la misma problemática de fragmentación del territorio podremos generar un gran impacto en la forma de integración de un área determinada desde el aprovechamiento del vacío. La investigación para el desarrollo de la propuesta estará basada en referentes urbano-arquitectónicos que se hayan enfocado en el manejo del vacío urbano y a la vez en datos históricos que nos lleven al origen de la problemática y así lograr entender con claridad en qué momento hubo una ruptura en el desarrollo del territorio.

The current degree project seeks to generate an alternative to the disarticulation generated by urban voids in fragmented areas through the implementation of an architectural element of a sports nature that the project study area lacks. Sports facilities have the characteristic of fragmenting the territory due to the impact they generate as a mass given the activities that take place inside them, in this way by providing a possible solution to these two scenarios that have the same problem of fragmentation of the territory we can generate a great impact on the form of integration of a determined area from the use of the vacuum. The research for the development of the proposal will be based on urban-architectural references that have focused on the management of the urban void and at the same time on historical data that lead us to the origin of the problem and thus achieve a clear understanding of when there was a break in the development of the territory
