Renacimiento de la arquitectura del Paisaje Cultural Cafetero

Abstract

En este documento se busca como combatir el debilitamiento de un patrimonio mundial colombiano declarado por la UNESCO: el Paisaje Cultural Cafetero (PCC), desde la arquitectura. Se estudia el patrimonio a profundidad para entender sus componentes, que problemas lo afectan, dónde y cómo se pueden intervenir. Dentro de ese estudio se realiza un análisis histórico, tipológico y del estilo a la arquitectura de la colonización antioqueña (la cual es componente del PCC) en búsqueda de aquellos valores identitarios que son vitales para esta arquitectura, y por ende para el patrimonio. Teniendo ya la selección de estos valores se les realiza una reinterpretación para que puedan ser aplicados a una vivienda contemporánea, la cual será el objeto arquitectónico a desarrollar.

This document seeks to combat the weakening of a Colombian world heritage declared by UNESCO: The Coffee Cultural Landscape (PCC), from architecture. Heritage is studied in depth to understand its components, what problems affect it, where and how it can be intervened. Within this study, a historical, typological and architectural style analysis of the Antioquia colonization (which is a component of the PCC) is carried out in search of those identity values that are vital for this architecture, and therefore for the heritage. Having already selected these values, a reinterpretation is carried out so that they can be applied to a contemporary home, which will be the architectural object to be developed.
