This degree work is linked to the Project research line: theories, methods and practices, taking into account that design is an object of study to establish a significant relationship of civic space in function of the market place; given that the main purpose and objective is to retake its identity through design and articulation with the social and cultural content convergence point in the civic square. This proposed link arises from the research approach, where the causes of its decline are understood by establishing an analysis of the development process and the systems of relationships that have allowed its permanence not only at an architectural level but also the conservation of foci of life that make it possible to safeguard it against new consumption patterns. To achieve the proposed objective, it will be approached from the architectural object, in order to establish an interior-exterior relationship between the market place and civic space from the perceptual, by establishing topological relationships raised by Christian NorbergSchulz in the spaces and thus same approach this link from the pragmatic, involving the tectonic concept of Jesús Aparicio. The social dynamics of the space will be taken into account from the Human Scale development of Manfred Max Neef in order to finally establish transition spaces that allow the coexistence of the market and civic space in a balanced way.en
