Abstract

El incremento del turismo y la expansión de las ciudades juegan un papel importante en el desarrollo de la sociedad, afectando en algunos casos al territorio y el medio ambiente debido al consumo y uso indiscriminado de los recursos naturales; por eso, es necesario buscar un equilibrio entre la ocupación de las ciudades y el uso de los recursos naturales, teniendo en cuenta los problemas ambientales que existen, así como los impactos producidos por la ocupación del territorio con el fin de ofrecer soluciones sostenibles aplicadas en los nuevos proyectos producidos por el desarrollo de las ciudades, de manera tal que se aprovechen los recursos naturales al máximo, se produzca un menor impacto ambiental y se ofrezca nuevas alternativas de ocupar el territorio.
