Patrón replicable de asentamiento en la zona urbana de Quibdó y ciudades del alto Atrato-Chocó

Abstract

En el presente documento se aborda el cómo se concibe la ciudad en diferentes contextos en relación con la sostenibilidad, y permite cuestionar la manera de cómo se planean las ciudades para afrontar un problema inmediato sin tener conciencia del futuro y sin proveer una solución real al problema sino postergando sus efectos. Las variables que se van a estudiar son, los impactos del cambio climático global, las dinámicas socio económicas que han trasformado el territorio, el estudio de nuevas tecnologías que se adapten a los lineamientos del caso proyectual y las potencialidades de las ciudades intermedias en relación con la región. Los aspectos a desarrollar se fundamentan en los límites de la utopía como elemento imprescindible para el desarrollo, por medio de un recuento histórico de los eventos, movimientos y avances que influenciaron el modo de concebir la ciudad después de la revolución industrial, enfocado en Norte América, Europa y Asia en relación con las ciudades latinoamericanas. El análisis de la contextualización de las problemáticas globales arroja conceptos como los de ciudad región que surge como el nuevo mecanismo de planeación de ciudades correspondiente a un sistema de conexiones urbanas sostenibles, red de ciudades y ciudades intermedias con la intención de solucionarlos. Por último, en relación con el caso de estudio, se explica una breve caracterización de las cinco regiones de Colombia profundizando en la región Pacífico, Chocó y Quibdó, con el propósito de evidenciar cómo es el funcionamiento de sus ciudades, el sistema de asentamientos en relación con las dinámicas socio territoriales y a través de la realización de una comparación con las ciudades anteriormente analizadas. Lo anterior tiene la intención de ser un punto de guía para el planteamiento de un nuevo patrón de ciudad que se adapte a las sociedades latinoamericanas y específicamente a la región pacífica colombiana, para que funcione tanto por sí misma como en conjunto a través de la continuidad de tejidos urbano regionales. La finalidad es aportar una mirada alternativa crítica relacionada con la ciudad región y las ciudades intermedias aplicada a la región Pacífico colombiana, con objeto de caracterizar los principales problemas de las ciudades, observar mediante referentes cómo algunas ciudades han resuelto estos tipos de problemas, identificar las diferentes características que conforman los sistemas de ciudades en Colombia y establecer cómo las diversas determinantes del territorio condicionan la manera de ocupar el lugar, para demostrar que a través de la aplicación del modelo se puede consolidar una nueva forma de habitar que responda a los problemas de cambio climático, transformaciones económico sociales y la ecología urbana.

This document approach how the city is conceived in different contexts in relation to sustainability, and allows us to question how cities are planned to face an immediate problem without being aware of the future and without providing a real solution to the problem but postponing its effects. The variables to be studied are, the impacts of global climate change, the socio-economic dynamics that have transformed the territory, the study of new technologies that adapt to the guidelines of the project case and the potential of intermediate cities in relation to the region. The aspects to be developed are based on the limits of utopia as an essential element for development, through a historical account of the events, movements and advances that influenced the way of conceiving the city after the industrial revolution, focused on North America , Europe and Asia in relation to Latin American cities. The analysis of the contextualization of global problems throws concepts such as the city region that emerges as the new city planning mechanism corresponding to a system of sustainable urban connections, network of cities and intermediate cities with the intention of solving them. Finally, in relation to the case study, a brief characterization of the five regions of Colombia is explained, deepening in the Pacific region, Chocó and Quibdó, with the purpose of demonstrating how the operation of their cities, the settlement system in relation to with the socio-territorial dynamics and through the realization of a comparison with the cities previously analyzed. The above is intended to be a guiding point for the approach of a new city model that adapts to Latin American societies and specifically to the Colombian Pacific region, so that it works both by itself and as a whole through continuity of regional urban networks. The purpose is to provide a critical alternative view related to the city region and intermediate cities applied to the Colombian Pacific region, in order to characterize the main problems of the cities, observe through references how some cities have solved these types of problems, identify the different characteristics that make up the systems of cities in Colombia and establish how the different determinants of the territory condition the way of occupying the place to demonstrate that through the application of the model a new way of living that responds to the problems of change can be consolidated climate, social economic transformations and urban ecology.
