Nocaima, Cundinamarca, is located in the region of Gualivá. Just 63 Km from Bogotá. This nearness represents a strong and strategic advantage toward the new rurality, wich determines substantial changes with the relationship between countryside, its own environment and the cities. This town is basically a rural area and it bases its economy on sweet cane´s crop and its processing. This traditional agricultural model of monoculture generates serious problems with water springs because reduces the possibilities of biological associations and because there is a lack of clear ecological protection politics. This issue has leaded to a gradual impoverishment of soil. To this we can add other factors like the uncontrolled tourism growth without planning and at mercy of a demand without filters and finally the exodus of new generations toward the cities, wich leaves pretty vulnerable this territory and as consequence of this issue is the economic unsteadiness of country people. These topics among others (wich we will detail later) has been the reason to set on a property of this town an entrepreneurship project (patrimony familiar) where in a microscale a different answer in front of the traditional rural developing it´s reflected. The agricultural diversity, the productive habitat and mainly the water´s importance as territory developing core and essential element of life. Concepts that can be observed from permaculture and new rurality perspectives. 15 For this, it´s posed as core of this project, the relationship between the water spring of the place and bamboo planting. From this ecological synergy structure and the conservation and empowerment of native forest of this place, we have posed the design of a new ecotouristic and sustainable farm model wich can be developed in strategic stages that goes from the bamboo planting and green structure´s place until the farm animal’s habitats, the rural touristic accommodation and other infrastructure required, using the bamboo planting as main building material. All of this defined by short, medium and long terms and Looking for the integration of this place with social and economic dynamics of this territory.eng
