Abstract

El Centro de Eventos y Deportes, Arena Cañón, ubicado en el barrio la Felicidad, en la cuidad de Bogotá D.C., tiene como objetivo, a través de la planificación urbana, crear un entorno urbano permeable, versátil y seguro en la trama del diseño, llegar a ser un lugar de encuentro, de experiencias y de bienestar con el propósito de lograr una sociedad vital. Hoy en día el fútbol se ha convertido en uno de los eventos más importantes y significativos en las ciudades, sin embargo, la construcción de un estadio es una pieza arquitectónica que se manifiesta con fuerza y solidez en la ciudad, llegando a ser un edificio independiente, imponente y exclusivo para los aficionados haciendo que se pierda el tejido urbano y la identidad de la ciudad. Con esto en mente, el diseño incluirá no solamente las competencias de fútbol, sino que además será capaz de albergar otras actividades deportivas y culturales. Para esto se mitigará el déficit de espacio público de la ciudad de supliendo el índice por persona en la localidad; el déficit de área de parque por habitante en Bogotá es de 5.9 m2, en relación con el estándar internacional que es de 10 m2; brindando diversidad de espacio público incorporando nuevas dotaciones que complementen el sector y sean incluyentes con la población; se fortalecerá el sistema de movilidad que facilite el acceso y la salida fácil del proyecto, con rutas directas al aeropuerto y terminal de transporte, complementando la malla vial en la capital con la creación de nuevas avenidas La v Agoberto Mejía y la Av. Del Ferrocarril de Occidente que puedan ayudar a descongestionar el flujo vehicular; promover un sistema efectivo de transporte público priorizando al peatón y al ciclista. Así mismo, se busca fomentar al máximo sus oportunidades comerciales, incorporando una amplia variedad de instalaciones, usos y servicios que garanticen la sostenibilidad financiera y que permitan beneficiar a la comunidad. En conclusión, el proyecto presenta un nuevo enfoque para la arquitectura deportiva de la región. Adicionalmente tendrá la posibilidad de convertirse en un importante centro de eventos, deportes y recreación, un espacio público que articule la ciudad y que a la vez redefina el diseño de los estadios en Colombia mediante la incorporación del sistema de clasificación de edificios sostenibles LEED1 y los requerimientos establecidos por la FIFA.

Nowadays football has become one of the most important and significant events in cities, however, the construction of a stadium is an architectural piece that manifests itself with strength and solidity in the city, becoming a independent, imposing and exclusive building for fans causing the urban fabric and the identity of the city to be lost. With this in mind, the design includes not only soccer competitions, but also be able to host other sports and cultural activities, for this the public space deficit of the city of Bogotá is mitigated by supplementing the index per person in the locality, providing diversity of public space incorporating new endowments that complement the sector and are inclusive with the population; the mobility system will be strengthened that will facilitate the easy access and exit of the project, with direct routes to the airport and transport terminal, complementing the road network in the capital with the creation of new avenues La Agoberto Mejía and Av. Del Ferrocarril de West that can help to decongest the vehicular flow; promote an effective public transport system prioritizing vii pedestrians and cyclists. Likewise, it seeks to maximize its commercial opportunities, incorporating a wide variety of facilities and uses, benefiting the community. In conclusion, the project presents a new approach to sports architecture in the region. It will also have the possibility of becoming an important center of events, sports and recreation, a public space that articulates the city and at the same time will redefine the design of stadiums in Colombia through the inclusion of LEED2 system and the requirements established by the FIFA.
