This final project has as main goal to propose a productive and self-sustaining ethno-tourism cultural equipment for the Muellamúes indigenous community, which is located in Guachucal in Nariño, Colombia. This community has currently shown a loss of cultural identity, which is considered the major problem of the Pasto ethnic group and the municipality itself. For this reason, an architectural equipment will be designed while considering all beliefs and traditions of great significance for the community based on their ancestral construction methods and materials found there. In addition, speaking about the surrounding areas, it is relevant to mention that there is a working process project about a complex of tourist accommodation modules recognized for promoting ethno- tourism; which guarantees the viability of the project with a minimum impact community. Furthermore, looking at this project from a more productive perspective, it is essential to support the development of new self-sustainable economic opportunities for the Muellamúes indigenous. Therefore, an area of fish production will be implemented in order to raise trout with not only exportation purposes, but also internal commercialization within the municipality. This proposal is based in a moor area considered as an ancestral place within the community. In order to this, it must be intervened through traditional construction systems well recognized in the area; as it is the palatial system for elevated platforms, and also an structural walls system in embedded bahareque for buildings, while being complemented with bioclimatic and sustainability aspects that reduce the environmental impact generated by the project.eng
