Armonia, territorio y comunidad : eco-barrio Toríbio, Cauca

Abstract

El proyecto Armonía territorio y comunidad se encuentra situado en el Departamento del Cauca, en el municipio de Toribío, dentro del resguardo de Toribío, donde habita la comunidad indígena Nasa Páez. La principal característica que distingue a esta comunidad es su fuerte conexión con la naturaleza y la protección del territorio en el que habitan. Ya que a lo largo de su historia, la comunidad ha sufrido grandes sucesos devastadores a causa del conflicto armado y los desastres naturales que se han presentado en la zona. Como resultado de estos, se ha evidenciado un déficit cualitativo y cuantitativo de vivienda. El objetivo de esta investigación, enmarca al proyecto como un aporte para la recuperación de la identidad cultural a través de la vivienda, un equipamiento educativo, espacios públicos y recreativos que generan armonía con el contexto. A partir del trabajo de campo realizado, se recolectó información crucial para el adecuado desarrollo del diseño arquitectónico y urbano teniendo en cuenta determinantes importantes para su cultura. El usuario principal del proyecto son 50 familias de la comunidad y el secundario es la población del municipio en general ya que tendrán acceso a los diferentes espacios públicos del Eco-barrio el cual se plantea con base a los conceptos de sostenibilidad y permacultura, donde a su vez propone un sistema estructural y constructivo que representa un aporte a las tecnologías ancestrales empleando el uso de los materiales propios de la región, como lo es el cáñamo.

The project Armonía territorio y comunidad is located in the Department of Cauca, in the municipality of Toribío, within the Toribío reservation, where the Nasa Páez indigenous community lives. The main characteristic that distinguishes this community is its strong connection with nature and the protection of the territory in which they live. Throughout its history the community has suffered great consequences such as the armed conflict and natural disasters that have occurred in the area. As a result, there has been a qualitative and quantitative housing deficit. The objective of this research frames the project as a contribution to the recovery of cultural identity through housing, educational equipment, public and recreational spaces that generate harmony with the context. In order to identify the different characteristics of the culture, a research analysis was carried out based on secondary sources of information, complemented by fieldwork in which information was collected through talks with the leaders and children of the Nasa indigenous community, which allowed us to achieve a first approach to architectural and urban design taking into account important determinants in their culture. The main user of the project are 50 families of the community and the secondary one is the population of the municipality in general since they will have access to the different public spaces of the Eco-neighbourhood which is raised on the basis of the concepts of sustainability and permaculture, where at the same time it proposes a structural and constructive system that represents a contribution to the ancestral technologies using the use of the materials of the region, as it is the hemp.
