Bogotá, Colombian capital is known for its multiculturalism, as the result of receiving annually a high amount of people from around the world for being the economic, politic, cultural and educative capital of the country. According to the DANE, Bogotá has a population of 7´200´000 habitants in the year of the 2018, and its estimated that for 2032 it would grow up to the number of 8 ´374.333 (Gomez, 2019). As a result of the growing of the city the relation with surrounding municipalities has made the option, to invest on principal highways that connect the city with its surroundings. One of the most important roads that connect the city with the other municipalities, is the north highway, as a consequence of this matter and to improve the efficiency, theres a proposal to imply a transport terminal at the north exit of the city. This measure has been implied because there is a lack of efficiency to connect the city with the nearest regions, having as first examples of this problem, the connections between Bogotá and Chía, Zipaquira, and other municipalities. As mentioned before, there is a search to favor the population that lives out side of the city and has to work in it. This population diary has to mobilized all the way in and out of the city, generating an average of 2.2 million journeys approximately. This condition it would be relieve implementing an architectural volume of a terminal transport system. A concept to imply this idea, is the multimodal architecture of a transport terminal that would integrate the connectivity between the urban, intermunicipal and complementary public system, improving the efficiency to switch between public transport systems. As conclusion, the idea is to integrate the different medias of public transportation proposed by the city town hall, with the propose to guarantee a more efficient public transport system at the moment of switching between connections of long and short distances. We hope that with this strategies and ideas, it would be possible to achieve a better and more efficient service for all the habitants that lives at the north savannah out side of Bogotá.eng
