Parque cultural Jemeyuru : equipamiento cultural para la Guajira

Abstract

El proyecto Parque Cultural Jemeyuru es un proyecto que parte de la necesidad que tiene Riohacha - La Guajira, de ampliar la infraestructura de equipamientos y espacios recreativos y culturales que fortalezcan el conocimiento de la cultura de la comunidad indígena Wayuu. Por tal razón, se realiza un análisis de la simbología de la etnia para aplicarla como concepto en la implantación volumétrica y de espacio publico. De esta forma, se representa la esencia de la cultura desde su morfología, hasta la variedad en las funciones que ofrece el programa arquitectónico, buscando complementar a través de un diseño urbano y volumétrico, el centro cultural actual, ya que este es un patrimonio intangible para la región y el cual se pretende mantener por su función y la importancia que este representa en a región. Por esta razón se decide proponer un parque cultural como un equipamiento que ofrezca variedad de actividades, un gran espacio publico con especies nativas, sin dejar a un lado la importancia del paisaje del lugar el cual es el mar sin perder las características de su cultura.

For this reason, an analysis of the ethnics of the ethnic group is carried out to apply the concept in the implementation of volumetric and public space. In this way, the essence of culture is represented from its morphology, to the variety of functions offered by the architectural program, seeking to complement the current cultural center through an urban and volumetric design, and that this is an intangible heritage for the region and which is intended to maintain its function and the importance that it represents in a region. For this reason, it is decided as a cultural park as an equipment that offers a variety of activities, a large public space with native species, without neglecting the importance of the landscape, the place, which is the sea without losing the characteristics of its culture
