Diseño arquitectónico de la Institución Educativa Departamental Manuel Murillo Toro, Cundinamarca

Abstract

El municipio de Útica, se localiza en la región del Gualivá, en el departamento de Cundinamarca, su casco urbano se encuentra bordeado por dos cuerpos hídricos que en múltiples ocasiones han inundado el territorio. El desastre más reciente ocurrió en el año 2011, afectando varias construcciones incluyendo la escuela y el colegio departamental, presentando la necesidad de reubicar este equipamiento en un terreno fuera de la zona de riesgo. La metodología del diseño abarca la investigación de las proyecciones de desarrollo de Útica, el análisis de las condiciones sociales, económicas, naturales y funcionales del municipio para definir las determinantes que influyen en el diseño arquitectónico, el cuestionamiento del programa arquitectónico a partir del análisis de referentes, complementado con una investigación teórica que sustente las decisiones proyectuales. El proyecto pretende aportar a la meta nacional de una educación de calidad, construyendo una infraestructura que se adapte espacialmente a nuevos y futuros modelos pedagógicos, como la educación por proyectos, consciente de la vocación agrícola y turística que tiene el departamento, incrementando la competitividad de este respecto a la región, proyectando arquitectura con estrategias bioclimáticas para el aprovechamiento de las condiciones climáticas y geográficas del lugar

The municipality of Útica, is located in the region of Gualivá, in Cundinamarca department, its urban area is on the confluence of two water bodies that flooded the territory on several occasions, the most recent disaster happened in 2011, affecting numerous constructions including the departmental school, needing the relocation of this equipment on land outside the risk zone. The methodology of the design includes the investigation of the plans of the development of the municipality, the analysis of the socioeconomic, ecological and functional conditions of the town to define the determining factors that influence the architectural design, the modification of the architectural program based on the analysis of the references, complemented by a theoretical research that supports project decisions. The project aimed to contribute to the national goal of quality education, building an infrastructure that adapts spatially to new and future pedagogical models, as project education, aware of the agricultural and tourist vocation that the department has, increasing the competitiveness it has with respect to the region.
