Centro cultural-urbano bicentenario

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo principal el de presentar una propuesta de creación un centro para la expresión artística y cultural, conjugando elementos de tipo urbano y arquitectónico que permitan la recuperación de un espacio para la contemplación y la recreación pasiva que favorezca la movilidad y la conectividad a través de diversos medios al interior de la ciudad. Por medio de la trayectoria histórica de la avenida séptima y haciendo una mirada evolutiva desde los tiempos de la colonia, se propone el diseño de un punto que reúna las diversas expresiones culturales con el fin de reavivar una identidad nacional con una proyección clara hacia el futuro sin olvidar los orígenes como nación. El centro cultural – urbano bicentenario se concibe como un espacio de exhibición y difusión de todas las manifestaciones culturales que conviven en Bogotá.

The main objective of the following work is to present a proposal for the creation of a center devoted to the artistic and cultural expression, which conjugates some urban and architectural elements in order to recover an important space for contemplation and passive recreation and for favoring both the mobility and connectivity through diverse means into the city. Through the study of the historical trajectory of the seventh avenue and having an evolving look since the colonial times, the design of a spot where the different cultural expressions meet in order to make the national identity live again, with a clear projection towards the future, taking into account the origin as a nation. The Bicentenary cultural and urban center is thought as a place for exhibition and diffusion of all cultural manifestations that live together in Bogota.
