Abstract

Los espacios públicos y privados urbanos han llegado a tener un lugar privilegiado en los debates sobre la arquitectura, donde lo privado alude a la vivienda, ese lugar del individuo y la familia y lo público se asocia con la colectividad. De esa manera se produce la transición desde lo interior y privado a lo exterior y público, por medio de un intersticio como lo es: el espacio transitorio, que tiene como objetivo la integración del habitar individual y colectivo respondiendo a las necesidades psicológicas del hombre y facilitando el intercambio y la integración del individuo con el grupo. Es oportuno investigar esta articulación de espacios con el fin de definir la calidad y cantidad de áreas asignables a cada una de estas actividades y su localización distribuida equitativamente y de uso complementario, pues estos espacios deben crear un sistema que trabaje de forma conjunta para lograr modelos habitacionales y urbanos eficientes.

The public and private spaces in the city have gained a privilege place in architectural debates. The privacy aludes to the living space, the place for the individual and the family and the public is often associat with the collectiveness. Following this order of ideas, there is a transition between the interior and the private spaces and the exterior and the public, through an opening as it is the transitional space, which aims to integrate individual and collective habitat, by satisfyng the psychological needs of a person and facilitating the integration of the individual with the group. It is strategic to investigate this articulation of spaces in order to define the quality and quantity of the areas that can be assigned to each of these activities, and their equitative distribution and complementary use, since these spaces must create a system that works pleasantly to achieve efficient housing and urban models
