Revitalización urbana mediante la reconceptualización arquitectónica de la plaza de mercado de Melgar, Tolima

Abstract

Con base en LIBERAR, CIRCULAR Y DENSIFICAR, estrategias de tratamiento urbanístico definidas para espacios de alto impacto residencial, surgidas de los lineamientos planteados para el Proyecto de REVITALIZACIÓN URBANA en el barrio Las Vegas en Melgar, se busca regenerar desde lo urbano y arquitectónico, una actividad que para cualquier población es primordial dadas sus condiciones de suministro vital. La Plaza de Mercado del lugar, en constante deterioro debido a la afectación por variables como su contexto inmediato, ESPACIALIDAD Y CONFORT, ha repercutido de manera negativa en la SEGURIDAD ALIMENTARIA, la pérdida de los valores simbólicos e históricos de la misma y, respaldo de las condiciones óptimas laborales. Al dar respuesta a las problemáticas identificadas, se incluirán tecnologías en materia de sostenibilidad y bioclimática, por medio de los lineamientos de revitalización urbana y RECONCEPTUALIZACIÓN ARQUITECTÓNICA entre las cuales se destacan la sub-terranización del proyecto y su cubierta transitable.

Based on RELEASE, CIRCULATE AND DENSIFY, defined urban treatment strategies for high-impact residential spaces, arising from the guidelines proposed for the URBAN REVITALIZATION Project in the Las Vegas neighborhood in Melgar, the aim is to regenerate, from the urban and architectural point of view, a activity that for any population is essential given their conditions of vital supply. The Market Square of the place, in constant deterioration due to the affectation by variables such as its immediate context, SPACE AND COMFORT, has had a negative impact on the FOOD SECURITY, the loss of the symbolic and historical values of the same and, support of the optimal working conditions. When responding to the identified problems, technologies in the area of sustainability and bioclimatic will be included, through the urban revitalization and ARCHITECTURAL RECONCEPTUALIZATION guidelines, among which stand out the underground project and its passable cover.
