Vivir en Armonía: Centro Biocultural y de Investigación de Meliponinos

Abstract

El proyecto consiste en diseñar un equipamiento vivir en Armonía ubicado en el casco histórico de Armero Guayabal municipio del Tolima en Colombia. Vivir en Armonía es un proyecto integrar a las especies de Meliponinos (abejas sin aguijón) en un área urbana y residencial por medio de prototipos que se unifican armónicamente a la estructura y al entorno del equipamiento, en este caso un centro biocultural y de investigación de Meliponinos. La propuesta reúne estrategias de conservación, educación ambiental, mediante la creación e implementación de prototipos arquitectónicos que favorezcan su hábitat y reproducción, permitiendo que las abejas sin aguijón logren nidificar y convivir con nosotros sin afectar la dinámica cotidiana del usuario ni el equilibrio ecológico del territorio.

This project consists of designing the Vivir en Armonía facility, located in the historic center of Armero-Guayabal, in the department of Tolima, Colombia. Vivir en Armonía seeks to integrate species of Meliponines (stingless bees) into an urban and residential area through prototypes that are harmoniously unified with both the structure and the surrounding environment of the facility, in this case a biocultural and research center dedicated to Meliponinos. The proposal brings together conservation and environmental education strategies through the creation and implementation of architectural prototypes that support their habitat and reproduction, allowing stingless bees to nest and coexist with humans without affecting daily activities or the ecological balance of the territory.
