Propuesta de Intervención Arquitectónica Hotel "Oasis" en el Municipio de Villa de Leyva (Boyacá)

Abstract

El proyecto de grado propone el diseño arquitectónico del “Hotel oasis” localizado en el desierto de La Candelaria, área subutilizada y descentralizada del contexto turístico en el municipio de Villa de Leyva, Boyacá. El diseño nace de la comprensión del entorno natural árido del desierto como espacio de contemplación, donde el hotel integra la arquitectura y el lugar, generándose como equipamiento turístico contextualizado con el territorio rural. Utilizando las características propias del territorio, se proyecta y orienta al usuario en recorridos que resaltan la interpretación del lugar, valorizando el contexto paisajístico que a su vez se fortalece con una propuesta arquitectónica sostenible y ambiental que activa un dispositivo natural en donde se exalta la adaptación entre la arquitectura y el territorio. en este contexto, el proyecto descentraliza el foco turístico, resaltando el patrimonio vivo en donde el visitante descansa, aprende y se transforma, y el lugar se convierte en una experiencia significativa arquitectónica, paisajística y cultural.

The thesis project proposes the architectural design of the “Oasis Hotel,” located in the La Candelaria desert, an underutilized and decentralized area within the tourist context of the municipality of Villa de Leyva, Boyacá. The design emerges from an understanding of the desert’s arid natural environment as a space for contemplation, where the hotel integrates architecture with its surroundings, positioning itself as a tourist facility contextualized within the rural territory. By utilizing the inherent characteristics of the site, the project is designed to guide users through spatial sequences that highlight the interpretation of the place, enhancing the landscape context, which is in turn strengthened by a sustainable and environmentally conscious architectural proposal. This approach activates a natural system that emphasizes the adaptation between architecture and territory. Within this context, the project decentralizes the tourist focus, highlighting living heritage, where visitors can rest, learn, and transform. The place thus becomes a meaningful architectural, landscape, and cultural experience.
