Abstract

La ciudad de Bogotá, que gracias a su crecimiento absorbió espacios los cuales en un principio estaban a las afueras, como lo es la zona industrial construida hace más de 80 años, genero lugares que hoy no encuentran un papel relevante para la sociedad, pues no fueron diseñados con fines sociales o culturales, ni como una zona urbana que sirviera de conexión o punto de encuentro para sus poblaciones cercanas.

Uno de estos fue la cervecería Andina, un espacio que llego a ser muy relevante para la sociedad por los productos que llegaron a crear, y no solo por esto, sino también por las altas demandas y ofertas laborales que llegaron a producir para las poblaciones de la ciudad y sus cercanías, sin embargo, con la desaparición de la marca Andina del mercado tras los diferentes problemas que fueron apareciendo, empezó a notarse como esta gran nave industrial fue perdiendo su peso social dejando atrás la historia que llego a tener, dejando como único legado la presencia de su estructura ya sin uso ni memoria de lo que alguna ves fue.

Es por esto, que en esta tesis se busca demostrar una de las maneras en las que este espacio olvidado, podría llegar a ser aprovechado, así como la historia que hubo en el a partir de diferentes estrategias que se generan a partir de que el edificio sigue en pie y su estructura y forma puede ser reciclada para la creación de un sector histórico que permite recordar épocas pasadas que fueron transformándose y cambiando hasta llegar a nuestra época.

The city of Bogotá, through its expansion, has incorporated areas that wer e once on the periphery, including the industrial zone established over 80 years ago. This development has resulted in locations that no longer hold signi ficant relevance in contemporary society, as they were not conceived with social or cultural objectives, nor as urban spaces intended to facilitate connections or serve as gathering points for the surrounding communities. One notable example is the Andina brewery, a facility that gained signi ficant importance in society due to the products it developed. Beyond this, it also contributed to the local economy by generating numerous job opportunities for the city and its surrounding areas. However, following the brand's withdrawal from the market due to various challenges, it became evident that this onceprominent industrial establishment was losing its social significance. The brewery's rich history faded, leaving behind only the remnants of its structure, now abandoned and a mere shadow of its former self. It is for this reason that this thesis seeks to demonstrate one of the ways in which this forgotten space could be taken advantage of, as well as the history that was in it through di fferent strategies that are generated from the fact that the building is still standing and its structure and form can be recycled for the creation of a historical sector that allows to remember past times that were transformed and changed until reaching our time.
