Centro de Terapia Asistida con Animales Domésticos para la Salud Mental

Abstract

El proyecto consiste en proponer un centro de terapia asistida con animales domésticos en la ciudad de Butler, New Jersey en los Estados unidos con la motivación de promover y mejorar la salud mental de las personas y poder darle una segunda oportunidad a los animales domésticos como perros y gatos que no tienen hogar. El diseño del proyecto tiene la disposición de adaptarse al entorno natural que ofrece el sitio, ya que tiene un nivel alto en Fauna y flora. Por lo tanto, una de las metas del proyecto es usar modelos de construcción sostenibles y poco invasivos en la zona para que el servicio que se va a brindar no afecte el lugar de emplazamiento y las actividades de la fauna silvestre.

The project consists of proposing a center for assisted therapy with domestic animals in the city of Butler, New Jersey, in the United States with the motivation of promoting and improving the mental health of people and being able to give a second chance to domestic animals such as dogs and cats that have no home. The design of the project has the provision to adapt to the natural environment that the site offers since this area has a high level of fauna and flora, therefore, one of the goals of the project is to use sustainable and minimally invasive construction models in the area without the service that is going to be provided to people affecting the location and the activities of the wildlife in its surroundings.
