Thermal comfort is one of the key factors for solving high energy consumption in hot climates. The objective of this research is to establish to what extent, through orientation, cross ventilation and the use of non-heat-conducting materials, the high energy consumption can be reduced for the air conditioning of interior spaces for hotel use, in hot weather, associated with its use by people accustomed to lower temperatures. The proposed methodological strategy to achieve the objective consists of considering the incidence of incident radiation. Where it can be concluded that, through the thermal floor profile, energy consumption statistics corresponding to elements that contribute to the air conditioning of interior spaces, Givoni diagram, cartographic analysis, design of bar-shaped modules with north openings - south, use of non-heat conductive materials and the experiment of absence, presence and variation, it is possible to corroborate the achievement of the general objective which was to establish to what extent, through orientation, cross ventilation and use of non-heat conductive materials, It is possible to reduce high energy consumption for the air conditioning of interior spaces for hotel use, in hot climates.en
