Articulación del patrimonio al proyecto arquitectónico. Proyecto centro cultural Central Bronx, Bogotá

Abstract

El presente trabajo de grado aborda la conservación y restauración arquitectónica para los bienes patrimoniales respondiendo a la inquietud proyectual de ¿Qué se debe conservar y que no? Ante esto, se determina como problema que el patrimonio construido en la actualidad, es considerado por algunos como un “tropiezo” o un “obstáculo”( Horacio Gnemmi, Ruskin,1849), en donde resulta como objetivo general determinar la interrelación que existe entre la apropiación social urbana y la contribución de esta hacia la preservación de un monumento patrimonial. En consecuencia, para su desarrollo, se trabaja la metodología correspondiente al análisis patrimonial, el cual define una serie de parámetros y estrategias para la revitalización y conservación del patrimonio, articulando así la identidad del edificio con la apropiación social-urbana.

This degree work addresses the conservation and architectural restoration for heritage assets responding to the project concern of What should be preserved and what not? Given this, it is determined as a problem that the heritage built today is considered by some as a “stumbling block” or an “obstacle” (Horacio Gnemmi, Ruskin, 1849), where it is the general objective of determining the interrelation that exists between the urban social appropriation and its contribution towards the preservation of a heritage monument. Consequently, for its development, the methodology corresponding to the heritage analysis is worked, which defines a series of parameters and strategies for the revitalization and conservation of heritage, thus articulating the identity of the building with the social-urban appropriation.
