Percepción estudiantil sobre la metodología de aprendizaje virtual en estudiantes de pregrado de una facultad de medicina en una universidad de Colombia

Abstract

Este documento se realiza con el fin de dar a conocer la percepción de los estudiantes de medicina en Colombia frente a la metodología de aprendizaje virtual, todos los cambios que esto conlleva y los efectos secundarios causados en los estudiantes; el problema nos permite delimitar la población a nivel nacional y la carrera de pregrado especifica en la cual se aplicara la investigación. Se evidencio en la literatura consultada diferentes percepciones tanto cualitativas como los sentimientos de los estudiantes ante el cambio y la metodología de aprendizaje virtual y factores cuantitativas como la cantidad de horas utilizadas en la metodología virtual diaria. Se escogió este tema y esta facultad de pregrado porque se conoce que a través del tiempo que la facultad de medicina se caracteriza por una enseñanza presencial, sin embargo, ante problemas mundiales como la pandemia por Covid-19 obliga a estudiantes y docentes a adoptar nuevas maneras de enseñar y aprender adaptándose a las necesidades diarias.

This document is carried out with the purpose of making known the perception of medical students in Colombia regarding the virtual learning methodology, all the changes that this entails and the side effects caused in the students; the problem allows us to delimit the population at national level and the specific undergraduate career in which the research will be applied. Different perceptions were evidenced in the literature consulted, both qualitative, such as the students' feelings about the change and the virtual learning methodology, and quantitative factors such as the number of hours used in the daily virtual method. This topic and this undergraduate school were chosen because it is known that through time the medical school has been characterized by face-to-face teaching, however, in the face of global problems such as the Covid-19 pandemic, students and teachers are forced to adopt new ways of teaching and learning, adapting to daily requirements.
