Valledupar is located to the north of the Cesar Valley, on the banks of the Cesar and Guatapurí rivers, on the Colombian Caribbean Coast. The city is an important cultural heritage worldwide thanks to the Vallenato Festival and has numerous places of interest for tourists. With the artificial environment as a base, we must focus on the objective of responding sensitively to nature and its various elements: light, water, wind, etc. The architecture of diffuse boundaries has a floating character that allows temporary changes, creating a relationship of overlapping spaces. The idea put forward in this thesis is to develop an urban space where two, different spaces interact, in this case, the river and the city. Toyo Ito’s (“Blurry Architecture) “Architecture of Fuzzy Boundaries” describes the relationship between the body and the world the external world: the body in relation to nature, and the body as part of both the external world and nature. The thesis makes an analogy of the link between the external world (the river, the natural aspect), and the internal world (the urban aspect, the artificial). This limit will continue to exist unalterably; changes will simply be implemented to integrate human indirect intervention with the river, through circulation, bridges, visuals, and permanence. The urban becomes a space of transition and integration, articulating links between the external and the internal and adapting flexibly to the terrain, water, wind, and all the other aspects present in a place. The construction of this urban space in a natural place does not imply an interruption of the natural flow, on the contrary, these spaces are flexibly unified with the changes of the river. These two spaces differ in character, but their delimitation confirms that neither interferes with not destroys the other. The fusion of these spaces will appear prettier and more interesting with greater transparency. I would call this space the “architecture of blurry limits”, an implanted urban space. In a natural place and has a transparent, homogeneous, and floating character.en
