Campus equino: estrategias de diseño en paisajes rurales como integración y solución arquitectónica-urbanística

Abstract

Los proyectos destinados a los equinos han sido diseñados a partir de medidas estándar que no son propicias para todas las razas de caballos, las dimensiones y la distribución de los espacios generan problemas de habitabilidad en dicha especie. Partiendo del diseño arquitectónico y urbanístico se pretende implementar estrategias que contribuyan a la reestructuración de los usos y características de los espacios a través del paisaje existente en el sector rural. Por medio de análisis e investigaciones de datos relacionados al comportamiento de los equinos en los espacios, y referentes que han aportado nuevas estrategias en la arquitectura ecuestre; se articulan conceptos y soluciones que dan como resultado el “campus equino” integrando las funciones de los proyectos ecuestres en diferentes edificios que se interconectan por medio de espacios naturales, para el disfrute del equino junto con el ser humano. Los espacios se dividen en privados y públicos, para suministrar las actividades necesarias y mitigar las problemáticas de confort y habitabilidad de los caballos. A su vez, el proyecto arquitectónico debe ser armónico y estético frente al contexto social, cultural e histórico, para lograr espacios que generen diferentes sensaciones incorporando las actividades que se desarrollaran entorno al equino.

The projects for equines have been designed from standard measures that are not suitable for all breeds of horses, the dimensions and distribution of the spaces generate habitability problems in this species. Starting from the architectural and urban design, it is intended to implement strategies that contribute to the restructuring of the uses and characteristics of the spaces through the existing landscape in the rural sector. Through analysis and research of data related to the behavior of equines in spaces, and references that have contributed new strategies in equestrian architecture; Concepts and solutions are articulated that result in the "equine campus" integrating the functions of equestrian projects in different buildings that are interconnected through natural spaces, for the enjoyment of the equine together with the human being. The spaces are divided into private and public, to provide the necessary activities and mitigate the problems of comfort and habitability of the horses. In turn, the architectural project must be harmonious and aesthetic compared to the social, cultural and historical context, to achieve spaces that generate different sensations incorporating the activities that will take place around the equine.
