El equipamiento cultural como elemento coyuntural social y medio ambiental : Biblioteca Espeletia

Abstract

Este equipamiento cultural situado en Bogotá, Colombia, más precisamente en el límite entre las localidades de Kennedy y Fontibón, en las inmediaciones del cauce del Rio Fucha a la altura de la Carrera 71 D en el costado oriental. La Biblioteca Espeletia nace en el cómo la población actual de la capital colombiana se enfrenta a la ruptura entre las dinámicas urbanas y la estructura ecológica principal, además de la segregación social y económica que afecta principalmente a las localidades de Kennedy y Fontibón producto de la alta densificación que ha tenido el sector en los últimos años y que continuará teniendo a raíz del desarrollo de planes parciales cuyos productos definitivos son principalmente las agrupaciones de vivienda en altura. La metodología parte primeramente del análisis de referentes mediante el cual se forja un imaginario compuesto de lo que se pretende crear, posteriormente se desagregan cada uno de los elementos que componen el proyecto tanto a nivel urbano como a nivel arquitectónico, de esta forma se analizan y vinculan los elementos por separado generando de esta forma un imaginario mucho más claro y preciso. Con base en esto se genera un espacio incluyente, mediante la integración del equipamiento, las actividades que este promueve y la dinamización del Río Fucha, resultan en una obra arquitectónica que fomenta el conocimiento y el desarrollo cultural, estimula la conciencia ambiental colectiva y genera sentido de apropiación en sus usuarios, consolidándose como un Hito cultural no solo del sector sino de toda la ciudad.

The methodology starts first from the analysis of referents by means of which an imaginary composed of what is intended to be created is forged, later each of the elements that make up the project are disaggregated both at urban and at an architectural level, in this way they are analyzed and they link the elements separately, thus generating a much clearer and more precise imagery Based on this, an inclusive space is generated, through the integration of the equipment, the activities that it promotes and the revitalization of the Fucha River, resulting in an architectural work that fosters knowledge and cultural development, stimulates collective environmental awareness and generates meaning. of appropriation in its users, consolidating itself as a cultural landmark not only of the sector but of the entire city.
