¿Qué estrategias de diseño bioclimático y sostenible promueven autosuficiencia en el recurso del agua en la industria hotelera en Colombia?

Abstract

Según la sociedad internacional de ecoturismo (TIES), ecoturismo se define como un viaje a realizar un conjunto de actividades en un entorno natural ofreciendo una cantidad de beneficios para quienes lo practican, No obstante, un estudio del Instituto de Estudios Ambientales (IDEA) de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia (UNAL) realizo una evaluación del impacto ambiental del turismo en los parques nacionales naturales de Colombia, este permitió establecer las modificaciones más relevantes sobre los aspectos físicos, bióticos y sociales, tanto de las áreas protegidas como de los municipios aledaños, evidencia de ello según lo asegura Paola Andrea Ruiz González, magíster en Medio Ambiente y Desarrollo del Instituto de Estudios Ambientales (IDEA) de la Universidad Nacional, donde afirma que el crecimiento sin control de turistas en sitios como la Laguna de los Tunjos, evidencia impactos ambientales como perdida de cobertura vegetal y erosión del suelo. Esta investigación busca analizar y entender sistemas de drenajes, almacenamiento, filtración, reutilización y distribución de agua, buscando además aplicar parámetros de Sostenibilidad y ecoturismo en un caso de estudio Tibacuy, con el fin de suplir un porcentaje de independencia en abastecimiento de agua y la garantía de un proyecto consiente y sostenible con una huella de carbono reducida.
