Reutilización de la Plaza de Toros en Bogotá

Abstract

En este artículo se empieza escogiendo el patrimonio; denominado como la plaza de toros la Santamaría ubicado en la Carrera 6 # 26B-50 dentro de la localidad de Santafé en la UPZ 91 en la ciudad de Bogotá. Para entender el contexto se tiene en cuenta los siguientes aspectos: Su valoración comercial, histórica, área de influencia, aspectos sociales, y normativa sobre el bien de interés cultural. Continuando, recorreremos un poco sobre las corridas en Colombia y su transcendencia a lo largo de la historia y de como nace la historia de la plaza de toros La Santamaría en Bogotá. Adicional a esto como con el transcurso del tiempo este patrimonio Nacional evoluciona y llega a decadencia debido a un tema que ha tomado fuerza durante los últimos años el cual es el maltrato animal. Finalmente se expondrá una propuesta de intervención para la Plaza de toros y su contexto inmediato con el fin de poder rehabilitar, activar y recuperar su memoria a partir de un nuevo uso para generar nuevas actividades dentro del patrimonio, su entorno y la sociedad

In this article we start by choosing the heritage; called the bullring Santamaría located at Carrera 6 #26B-50 located inside the town of Santafé in UPZ 91 in the city of Bogotá. To understand the context, the following aspects are taken into account: its commercial, historical, area of influence, social aspects, and regulations on the object of cultural interest. Continuing, we will walk a bit about bullfights in Colombia and their transcendence throughout history and how the history of the La Santamaría bullring in Bogotá was born. In addition to this, as with the passage of time, this national heritage evolves and comes to decline due to a theme that has gained strength during the last years, which is animal abuse. Finally, a proposal for intervention will be presented for the bullring and its immediate context in order to rehabilitate, activate and recover its memory from a new use to generate new activities within the heritage, its environment and society
