Construcción de la sede de la facultad de ingeniería de la Universidad Militar Nueva Granada

Abstract

La Universidad Militar Nueva Granada-UMNG se encuentra implementando un plan estratégico a largo plazo, que tiene como parte de sus objetivos mejorar su posición en el sector educativo tanto a nivel nacional como internacional; para ser reconocida como un centro educativo y de investigación de talla mundial. Para alcanzar este objetivo, se definió la necesidad de ampliar su infraestructura física mediante el diseño y construcción de una infraestructura que cumpliera con los mejores estándares y especificaciones para este tipo de instituciones; permitiendo extender la cobertura educativa a un mayor número de estudiantes, que accederán no solo a las más avanzados herramientas tecnológicas, sino a los métodos de enseñanza de vanguardia.

Universidad Militar Nueva Granada – UMNG is implementing a long term strategic plan, which includes, as part of its objectives, the improvement of its position in the educational field nationwide as well as in an international level, so that it is recognized as a world class investigation center. In order to achieve this goal, it was established the need of enhancing its physical infrastructure by designing and building better facilities that meet the standards and requirements of this type of institutions, allowing the university to expand its educational coverage to a greater number of students. Not only will they have access to the most advance technological tools but also they will experience leading edge teaching methods.
