Evaluación del crecimiento de servicios de turismo de salud en Colombia durante los años 2013 - 2017

Abstract

El presente documento, se basa en la investigación y recolección de datos en el sector servicios, subsector turismo de salud, dada la demanda de este servicio y el impacto socioeconómico que genera en el país. Para este documento se tendrá en cuenta plasmar los factores conexos que hacen parte de los servicios de turismo de salud, como lo son clínicas, hospitales, agencias de viajes, prestadores de servicios de turismo, agentes internos y externos, hoteles entre otros. Para este proceso se tendrán en cuenta el apoyo gubernamental que presenta actualmente el país, y los mecanismo utilizados para su promoción nacional e internacionalmente, con el fin de dar a conocer si el país cuenta con el respaldo del gobierno y que beneficios son otorgados por esté, para aquellas empresas o personas que prestan dichos servicios de manera legal en Colombia. Siendo este servicio atractivo para los extranjeros, se realizará una entrevista al cirujano Félix Duran, quien dará su opinión acerca del tema y de la situación actual del servicio que se presta en Colombia, esto con el fin de dar un análisis al lector para contextualizarlo de aquellos factores que hacen parte del servicio y generan ventajas o desventajas en el subsector. Para finalizar este documento, se realizaran una serie de recomendaciones las cuales aporten al estudio y mejoramiento del subsector turismo de salud en el ejercicio de comercio internacional.

This document is based on research and data collection in the services sector health tourism subsector, the demand for this service and the socioeconomic impact generate in the country. In this document it will take the related factors that are part of health tourism services, such as clinics, hospitals, travel agencies, tourism service providers, internal and external agents, hotels, and more. For this process will take the current government support of the country, and the mechanisms used for its national and international promotion, in order to know if the country has the support of the government and what benefits are granted to those companies or people who provide these services legally in Colombia. This service being attractive to foreigners, an interview will be conducted to the Surgeon Félix Duran, who will give his opinion about it and the current situation of the service provided in Colombia, this in order to give an analysis to the reader to contextualize those factors that are part of the service and generate advantages or disadvantages in the subsector. To finalize this document, a series of recommendations will be made, which contribute to the study and improvement of the health tourism subsector in the exercise of international trade.
