La Preservación del Paisaje Cafetero por Medio de la Arquitectura Simbiótica : Agrópolis para la Tebaida, Quindío

Abstract

En este documento se presenta el trabajo de tesis, que se titula: LA PRESERVACIÓN DEL PAISAJE CAFETERO POR MEDIO DE LA ARQUITECTURA SIMBIÓTICA: AGROPOLIS. El proyecto está ubicado en La Tebaida, Quindío, dónde se identificó que uno de los problemas principales, es la pérdida de identidad y el paisaje cultural del territorio cafetero, que se ha generado por el desinterés en la conservación natural y tradicional del territorio, la pérdida significativa del suelo por la sobreexplotación de éste, donde no priman las actividades sostenibles, ya que, actualmente no existe conocimiento alguno y capacitación acerca de este tipo de prácticas y la comunidad ignora la relevancia nacional e internacional que posee este paisaje. Por lo anterior, lo que se busca es generar espacios colectivos para la comunidad dónde se realicen actividades sostenibles con el fin de demostrar que con estas prácticas limpias de espacios diseñados y construidos con materiales propios de la región se podrá lograr una mejora económica importante, se mitigará la huella de carbono, habrá una recuperación en el medio ambiente, se retomará la importancia de la cultura cafetera y la preservación del paisaje, específicamente en el municipio La Tebaida, Quindío. Por lo tanto, se plantea el siguiente proyecto: La creación de una agropolis que será conformada por un centro cultural, un centro de acopio y 17 viviendas productivas, vinculando cada diseño con la estructura ecológica, cultural, urbano – arquitectónica, el paisaje y sus usuarios, dónde cada ecosistema involucrado en el proyecto se verá beneficiado, mejorando la calidad de vida y las estructuras ecológicas dentro y alrededor del lugar, gracias a la aplicación de la agricultura diversificada, la permacultura, las actividades sostenibles y emprendimiento colectivo, dando como resultado una arquitectura simbiótica del paisaje, que será el elemento preservador y protector de la identidad del paisaje cultural cafetero.

The thesis work is presented in this document, which is entitled: The preservation of the coffee landscape through Symbiotic architecture: Agropolis. The project is located in La Tebaida, Quindío, where it was identified one of the main problems, which is the loss of identity and the cultural landscape of the coffee territory, which has been generated by the disinterest in the natural and traditional conservation of the territory, the significant loss of land due to over – exploitation of this, where sustainable activities don´t prevail, currently, there is no knowledge and training about this type of practice and the community ignores the national and international relevance of this landscape. Due to the aforementioned, the main intention is to generate collective spaces for the community where sustainable activities are the principal, in order, to demonstrate that with these clean practices and spaces designed and built with materials typical of the region, an important economic improvement can be achieved. It will mitigate the carbon footprint, there will be a recovery in the environment, the importance of the coffee culture and the preservation of the landscape will be retaken, specifically in La Tebaida, Quindío. Therefore, we propose the following project: The creation of an agropolis that will be made up of a cultural center, a collection center and 17 productive houses, linking each design with the ecological, cultural, urban – architectural structure, the landscape and the users, where each ecosystem involved in the project will benefit, improving the quality of life and ecological structures in and around of the place, thanks to the application of diversified agriculture, permaculture, sustainable activities and collective entrepreneurship, resulting in a symbiotic architecture of the landscape, which will be the preserving and protective element of the identity of the coffee cultural landscape.
