Equipamiento como integrador de la ciudad

Abstract

El proyecto aborda la nula relación encontrada entre los equipamientos y la ciudad. Esta inexistente relación se demuestra por el diseño de equipamientos carentes de un lenguaje arquitectónico que los integren, por lo que los habitantes no cuentan con espacios urbanos de los cuales se sientan parte activa. Para resolver la problemática se analizan e identifican tres teorías que ayudarán a generar una articulación adecuada entre los equipamientos y la ciudad, estas teorías son: Permeabilidad física, visual y variedad. Al identificar las teorías se estudia la pertinencia de su uso en la implantación de un equipamiento en la ciudad. Seguido a esto se desarrollan las teorías en el diseño de un equipamiento mediante el uso de operaciones de diseño en la forma y función del equipamiento, demostrando así las relaciones creadas a partir de su implementación en el proyecto. Las operaciones de diseño se dan entendiendo la ciudad y sus dinámicas por lo que el proyecto se abre a la ciudad formalmente y se genera una variedad de usos, creando así sentido de pertenencia del ciudadano con su equipamiento. Por consiguiente, los equipamientos en la ciudad proyectados a partir de estas estrategias se constituyen como centros de identidad y cohesión en la ciudad.

The project addresses the null relationship found between the facilities and the city. This non-existent relationship is demonstrated by the design of facilities that lack an architectural language that integrates them so that the inhabitants do not have urban spaces of which they feel an active part. To solve the problem, three theories are analyzed and identified that will help to generate an adequate articulation between the facilities and the city: Physical and visual permeability and variety. When identifying the theories, the relevance of their use in the implementation of an equipment in the city is studied. Then, the theories are developed in the design of an equipment using design operations in the form and function of the equipment, thus demonstrating the relationships created from its implementation in the project. The design operations are given by understanding the city and its dynamics so that the project opens in its form and generates a variety of uses, thus creating a sense of belonging of the citizen with his equipment. Consequently, the facilities in the city projected from these strategies are constituted as centers of identity and cohesion in the city.
