Escuela de artes y oficios : reintegración urbana y resignificación del patrimonio Molino Tundama

Abstract

El siguiente documento busca llevar a cabo la resignificación del patrimonio material e inmaterial, y, la reintegración urbana del Molino Tundama a la ciudad a partir de la creación de una escuela de artes y oficios la cual busca preservar la memoria artesanal desarrollada en la ciudad de Duitama. El proyecto busca responder a la falta de espacios para la protección del patrimonio en la ciudad y el desarrollo de nuevos creativos, al igual que la refuncionalización del Molino Tundama el cual actualmente se presenta como un vacío urbano dentro de la ciudad. De esta manera, esta investigación busca proponer una nueva infraestructura que se vincule a la Ciudadela Cultural Culturama, ubicada en inmediaciones del Molino Tundama, logrando así una reintegración urbana y resignificación del patrimonio material e inmaterial presente en la ciudad. La investigación se da por medio del análisis de dinámicas culturales dentro de la ciudad y al igual dinámicas urbanas dentro del contexto inmediato, logrando entender así las falencias urbanas que se han desarrollado en el contexto debido a la inutilización de espacios patrimoniales, por medio de estas una valoración del patrimonio y su relación con la ciudad (Urbana, Cultural y Social), y seguidamente la proyección de la escuela de artes mediante un esquema de usos necesarios para el desarrollo de la misma y a su vez el desarrollo de la propuesta urbana que busca integrar la ciudadela cultural a la ciudad como un espacio de integración y desarrollo de la cultura Duitamense. De esta manera el proyecto protegería el patrimonio dinamizando el desarrollo de arte y artesanía presente en la ciudad dentro de un inmueble patrimonial.

The following document seeks to carry out the resignification of the tangible and intangible heritage, and the urban reintegration of the Tundama Mill into the city through the creation of an arts and crafts school which seeks to preserve the artisan memory developed in the city of Duitama. The project seeks to respond to the lack of spaces for the protection of heritage in the city and the development of new creatives, as well as the re-functionalization of the Tundama Mill, which is currently presented as an urban void within the city. In this way, this research seeks to propose a new infrastructure that is linked to the Culturama Cultural Citadel, located in the immediate context of the Tundama Mill, this achieving an urban reintegration and resignification of the material and immaterial heritage present in the city. The research is carried out through the analysis of cultural dynamics within the city and at the same time urban dynamics within the immediate context, this managing to understand the urban shortcomings that have developed in the context due to the in-use of heritage spaces, through these an assessment of the heritage and its relationship with the city (Urban, Cultural and Social dynamics), and then the projection of the arts school through a scheme of uses necessary for its development and in turn the development of the urban proposal it seeks integrate the cultural citadel into the city as a space for the integration and development of the Duitamense culture. In this way, the project would protect the heritage by revitalizing the development of art and crafts present in the city within a heritage building.
