Arquitectura: Espacio de Recuperación y Materialización de Valores Tradicionales Culturales

Abstract

En primer lugar, este trabajo de grado genera cierto conocimiento sobre el patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la comunidad Palenquera, desde su perdida hasta la manera de cómo se recupera por medio de la arquitectura. A continuación, trata de la especificidad de la arquitectura simbólica y la utilización de materiales y su técnica constructiva. Esta especificidad procede del hecho que son utilizados estos elementos para adecuar espacios donde se difundirán y mostrarán diferentes expresiones culturales de esta comunidad, recuperando estas tradiciones y fomentando la participación de la comunidad en diferentes generaciones para así lograr que, en el trascurso del tiempo, esta no se pierda y quede en el olvido. Siendo así, el centro cultural busca la recuperación y materialización de estas muestras y también que la comunidad se apropie de este espacio ya que ellos forman parte de la construcción histórica de Cartagena. Esta tesis conllevo a que el vacío se establece como el intersticio entre la arquitectura simbólica en el patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la comunidad Palenquera.

First, this undergraduate work generates some knowledge about the intangible cultural heritage of the Palenquera community, from its loss to the way it is recovered through architecture. It then deals with the specificity of symbolic architecture and the use of materials and their constructive technique. This specificity comes from the fact that these elements are used to adapt spaces where different cultural expressions of this community will be disseminated and displayed, recovering these traditions and encouraging the participation of the community in different generations in order to ensure that, in the course of time, it is not lost and forgotten. Thus, the cultural center seeks the recovery and materialization of these samples and also that the community appropriates this space since they are part of the historical construction of Cartagena.This thesis led to the void being established as the gap between the symbolic architecture in the intangible cultural heritage of the Palenquera community.
