La permanencia de la identidad

Abstract

Este artículo aborda la intervención de arquitectura contemporánea en inmuebles patrimoniales. Estableciendo como investigación proyectual la transgresión de la autenticidad al realizar intervenciones contemporáneas, en consecuencia, se plantea como objetivo general conservar la autenticidad de un bien patrimonial mediante una intervención arquitectónica contemporánea. La interpretación histórica es la metodología para el desarrollo de la investigación la cual se desarrolla mediante la confrontación de los siguientes autores (y sus respectivas posturas): Viollet-Le-Duc, John Ruskin y Camilo Boito, esto con el fin de comprender la trayectoria y pertinencia del concepto en lo patrimonial y su papel en la contemporaneidad. A partir de este enfoque se ha desarrollado el proyecto arquitectónico, el cual valora aquellos rasgos que comprenden la autenticidad de un inmueble patrimonial existente, e incentiva la permanencia integral del bien en su contexto, articulando así el pasado con el presente.

This article addresses the contemporary interventions in historic buildings. The enquiry defines the transgression of authenticity in contemporary interventions. The main purpose is to preserve authenticity within the intervention of a historic building. Interpretive-Historical Research is the strategy to address the enquiry of the project, which is defined through the confrontation of the following authors: Viollet-Le-Duc, John Ruskin and Camilo Boito, to understand the tradition and pertinence of this concept regarding heritage and the contemporary interventions in historic buildings. From this approach the project has been developed, which appraises the features that comprehend a current heritage building’s authenticity, and promotes the integral permanence of this building within its context, connecting in this way past and present.
