This article searches for the break of Harry Markcowits´s hypothesis “the higher the risk, the higher the profitability from the perspective of a set of portfolios” using the Sharpe, Treynor and Jensen tenets. Here is analyzed a diversified portfolio in two periods of time; one of them affected by a disruptive variable: “Covid-19”, based on a selected portfolio comprised by five stocks of every MILA´s countries, all of these with a high stock capitalization index at a certain date. It is used the quantitative approach methodology, where the efficiency ranking proves that three out of the four selected and analyzed portfolios in the period affected by Covid-19, break the hypothesis.
