Educación Intercultural con la Comunidad de Indígenas Otavaleños de la Basílica Menor del Voto Nacional del Centro de Bogotá

Abstract

La presente investigación es el resultado de un acompañamiento de varios meses con la comunidad indígena Otavaleña perteneciente a la basílica menor del Voto Nacional, este acompañamiento inició con la realización de diferentes talleres que por medio de las herramientas tecnológicas pretendieron fomentar el fortalecimiento y la autogestión de la comunidad, el resultado fue el trabajo de grado uno de los investigadores, el cual marcó el camino para que la investigación tuviera lugar. Bajo los resultados de dicha investigación se encontró que la comunidad indígena manifiesta un gran interés por acceder a la educación y un interés aun mayor por mantener sus tradiciones, fue allí donde se concertó el tema que en esta investigación se trabajará. Luego de hacer una revisión teórica sobre temas de educación intercultural y de conocer los intereses de la comunidad, se desarrollaron una serie de ejercicios en la Casa Cural del Voto Nacional donde se aplicaron metodologías como grupos focales, entrevistas semiestructuradas y árbol de problemas, siempre sustentados en la investigación, acción participante. Como resultado de estas sesiones se logró determinar los ejes temáticos, metodologías y contenidos que posteriormente harían parte del programa de educación intercultural que se espera sea desarrollado en el mediano plazo.

The present investigation is the result of an accompaniment of several months with the Otavaleña indigenous community belonging to the base of the National Voting miniature, this accompaniment began with the realization of different workshops that through the use of technological tools aimed at promoting the strengthening and self -management of the community, the result was the work of grade one of the researchers, which marked the way for the research to take place. Under the results of this research it was found that the indigenous community shows a great interest in accessing education and even greater interest in maintaining their traditions, it was there where the subject was agreed upon in this research will be worked on. After making a theoretical review on issues of intercultural education and interest in the interests of the community, it became a series of exercises in the Cural House of the National Vote where methodologies were applied as focus groups, semi-structured interviews and problem tree, always supported by research, participatory action. As a result of these sessions, the thematic axes, the methodologies and thematic contents that were later developed in the intercultural education program were marked in the medium term can be determined.
